Coinbase is one of the most popular cryptocurrency exchanges in the world. It was founded in 2012 and since then has expanded its services to include a wallet for users to store their cryptocurrency securely. Coinbase Wallet is a mobile app that allows users to store, manage, and trade cryptocurrencies. It was launched in 2018 and is available for iOS and Android devices. In this review, we will take a closer look at Coinbase Wallet and evaluate its features, security, user interface, fees, and customer support.
Coinbase Wallet has a user-friendly interface that is easy to navigate. Upon opening the app, users are greeted with a home screen that displays their cryptocurrency holdings and recent transactions. The app supports a wide range of cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and many others. Users can add new coins to their wallet by simply scanning a QR code or entering a public address.
One of the most important features of any cryptocurrency wallet is security. Coinbase Wallet takes security seriously and employs several measures to protect user funds. Private keys are stored on the user's device and never leave it, making it much harder for hackers to gain access to the wallet. In addition, the wallet supports biometric authentication, such as fingerprint and face recognition, for added security. Finally, Coinbase Wallet is backed by the Coinbase exchange, which has a strong reputation for security and reliability.
Coinbase Wallet is a free app that does not charge any fees for storing or managing cryptocurrencies. However, there are fees associated with trading cryptocurrencies on the Coinbase exchange, which is integrated into the wallet. These fees vary depending on the type of transaction, the size of the trade, and the cryptocurrency being traded.
Coinbase Wallet has a comprehensive support center that provides answers to common questions and issues. Users can also contact customer support through email or social media. However, some users have reported slow response times and difficulty getting issues resolved.
Coinbase Wallet offers several additional features that make it a useful tool for cryptocurrency users. The wallet supports decentralized applications (dApps) that allow users to interact with blockchain-based services directly from their mobile device. It also allows users to send and receive cryptocurrency using a simple username, rather than a complex public address. Finally, Coinbase Wallet supports the purchase of cryptocurrency using a linked bank account or credit card.
Conclusion
Coinbase Wallet is a solid option for cryptocurrency users looking for a mobile wallet that is easy to use and offers strong security features. Its user-friendly interface and support for a wide range of cryptocurrencies make it a good choice for beginners, while its support for dApps and advanced features make it a useful tool for more experienced users. However, the fees associated with trading cryptocurrencies on the Coinbase exchange and the slow customer support response times may be a drawback for some users. Overall, Coinbase Wallet is a good option for users who want a secure and convenient way to store and manage their cryptocurrency on the go.
Pure scam. I wish I had read reviews before committing my money. I was used and blocked out from withdrawals after depositing a very huge amount of money and when I complained they demanded more money before I could unfreeze my account and withdraw. I had heard of Finalresolute. com from my in-laws who had similar issues so i took it to them and they followed up on my behalf. I couldn't believe it when I got notification of my refund after several intense investigations.
llevo semanas intentanto que me reactiven mi cuenta ni puedo comprar ni vender, el soporte tecnico me escribe que pronto lo solucionaran, pero a ver....yo pierdo dinero ahota mismo y no tengo solucion
First, to the non existent people at Coinbase GO F@#K YOURSELVES! And second, KISS MY A@#! And third, GO F@#K YOURSELVES!!! Greedy cocksuckers! I have been trying to get my crypto out of their hand, but that is easier said than done. In order to send out the remaining 22XRP I have to add another 20 of them to pay for it! It costs $5 in ETH to send $10 in ETH. You'll literally go broke trying to pay all the ETH fees!
I am extremely new to crypto & am self-taught, and in a short amount of time have learned quite a bit, and I'm starting to notice more & more problems with coinbase. Higher fees, and I'm REALLY starting to get peeved because regardless of how much, or how little XRP I attempt to send coinbase says I have an "insufficient amount". I think I could send like $2 worth before which would mean that they would've required OVER $12-$15 in fees just to send it! Now I'm attempting to send like $40 something in XRP & no matter what I enter it's says it's insufficient! Also, I had some issues with NEXO & a real person has been responding back & forth by email, they recovered my lumens I sent without the MEMO I.D. , but not coinbase! Coinbases' customer service is non-existent! Yes, coinbase is PERFECT for beginners, but with crypto you don't stay a beginner for long & will begin to notice all the things wrong with them. There's a LOT of people that could really use a job at this current point in time, so would it kill them to, you know, maybe HIRE SOME PEOPLE TO HELP!!! These days having customer service with real-live people is worth 2⭐ alone. I've literally rated a place like that before.
I used to trade with Coinbase and I decided to try the wallet. It didn't disappoint me. The wallet is reliable wallet.
