The 803 Mine Pool is a multi-currency mining pool, with a 1% fee. It uses the PROP system with automatic payments every 2 minutes for confirmed blocks at a minimum balance of 0.01 for all coins, SHA256, Scrypt, Groestl & X11 Mining Pools. There is no registration needed and all block rewards for each coin are shared amongst miners. Running across multiple secure enterprise-grade dedicated/cloud hardware in different geographical military-grade data centers with high availability, redundancy, web & share D.O.S protection, firewalls, encryption, and regular backups + friendly mining support.
For a period of time, there were concerns about the pool's legitimacy. People were reporting about being unable to withdraw their funds or even access the wallet associated with the pool account. The support team was staying silent to questions from the users experiencing such types of problems. As the pool wasn't too popular there were only a few public user reports and discussions about the platform.
In 2021, the amount of negative feedback increased as the pool website went offline. It seems that 803 Mine turned out to be a scam and now former pool users are trying to sue the platform. Currently, there is no way to use this pool and no need to try it as it's clearly a bad mining pool that doesn't give miners what they've mined there.
Unfortunately, often it is hard to tell if the company is a scam or not. Especially, when there is so little info about the project and almost no user reports that could help understand that the company is a no-go until it's too late. There were several quite positive Reddit posts about 803 Mine in the past. Probably for some time the pool was letting people withdraw their coins. However, know we know that the company abused the trust of people.
Good
I was scammed for 30k, my father 10k.
The owners name is Nick Amato, total scammer, claimed the miners were stolen. He stole them himself, as well as all of our btc.
I had invested $10k in the early days of their fund. Was made promises and robbed blind. Anyone know how to start a class action lawsuit?
They stole about $30,000 in BTC from me. Nothing but lies and unfulfilled promises.
Below is receipts of stolen money. On the date bought this was 1 Bitcoin. Worth thousands today.
