Civic Coin Price Prediction 2022-2030

Despite what some people say, it’s still not too late to invest in crypto. Regardless if you’re looking to put away some money into the big players in the industry like Bitcoin and Ethereum or go after the smaller one, it’s not a bad idea.

As the trend continues and the prices of the coins are on the increase, you’d want to invest in something that has potential. Even though we’ve seen some huge gains in a short time, we also witnessed many drops or complete eliminations from the market.

To ensure that you are not throwing your money into some coin that won’t bring you any profit, it’s essential to consider what you’re investing in. Choosing the right one can be a struggle with the thousands of coins currently on the market, and I’m here to help you.

Today, I’ll be looking at Civic coin and discuss if it has any growth potential or if you should steer clear from it.

What is Civic coin

Unlike most blockchain platforms you’ll find designed for payments or smart contracts, Civic is slightly different. The platform is designed to offer identity verification by relying on a decentralized network. The idea is to enable users to receive real-time confirmation of identity, age, and more.

By doing this, people can use this service in situations where government bodies want to ensure that you are the person you represent.

Civic was launched in 2015 and is based on the Ethereum network, which is how the verification system works. As soon as you verify, the service allows you to share personal information with the other party. On the security side of things, all data you intend to share is stored locally on your device, meaning that the network won’t be able to access it unless you allow it.

Since Civic is an ERC-20 token, it means that the coin can be kept on any wallet that supports the Ethereum protocol.

Civic coin price analysis of the past years

Despite its release in 2015, the Civic coin didn’t hit the market until mid-2017, at which point the coin’s price was $0.16. for about 10 days, the price was steady, at which point, it jumped to $0.73 in a few days. From that point on, the price began to decrease and stabilized a little above the $0.25 mark until December 2017. In the last 3 weeks of the month, the price spiked to $1.35 in the first days of 2018. That was the coin’s all-time high.

2018 saw a significant drop in the coin’s price, falling below its initial price when it was introduced to the market. The price fell for the first 3 months of 2018 and began to increase gradually.

It reached $0.47 in May 2018 and continued on a downward trend for the rest of the year. Civic coin ended 2018 with a price of $0.05 and started 2019 without any surprises.

2019 and 2020 were very calm years for Civic coin. Even though there were some ups and downs, the price almost reached the $0.1 mark in 2019, but it continued to drop. 2020 wasn’t any different either, as Civic coin continued with the same trend from the previous year, reaching a price of $0.01 in March 2020. From that point on, the price seemed to increase slightly, but it wasn’t something that would interest investors.

Things started to move in a positive direction in November 2020, where the coin reached a price of $0.13. That led to an upward trend that spanned for the next couple of months. In April 2021, the Civic coin reached a price of $0.69, followed by another downward trend.

June and July were not very good months for Civic as the price managed to rise above the $0.2 mark only once. The end of July brought some good news, and Civic was on another upward trend, which led us to the end of August when the coin reached a price of $0.34. The following 5 days were very good for Civic, as the price reached a price of $0.92, followed by an instant drop which pushed the price below $0.5.

In the early weeks of 2022, the price dropped below $0.3 affected by the entire crypto market downfall.

Civic coin price prediction 2022-2030

Looking at the price history, it’s a bit difficult to determine which way the price can go. The coin was lying dormant for about 2 years with very minimal activity in price, so no one can guarantee that the predictions will be correct.

If we ignore the spike in the price we saw in the second half of 2021, Civic has been technically still on a slight upward trend prior to the early 2022 downfall. As of February 3, 2022, the price is recovering.

Considering how precisly the Civic price was following the BTC price's trends, we believe that Civic will recover soon. There is a good chance that Civic coin will regain 30 cents per coin level in 2022. In December of 2022, the coin might even touch a $0.4 level.

As for 2023, the price probably won’t be too much above the $0.5 mark. Several experts are expecting it to be around $0.54 - $0.55. By the end of 2024, the coin will barely  reach the $1 level. However, in 2025, it will cross this line and will probably go as far as $1.4. As was mentioned above, Civic will probably keep on growing for years. We expect it to be around $10 by 2031.

Year Min Price Average Price Max Price
2022 $0.32 $0.34 $0.41
2023 $0.48 $0.51 $0.55
2024 $0.76 $0.8 $0.96
2025 $1.28 $1.33 $1.41
2026 $2.06 $2.12 $2.36
2027 $2.68 $2.8 $3
2028 $3.9 $4 $4.88
2029 $5.74 $5.94 $6.75
2030 $8 $8.12 $10

Conclusion

Overall, Civic is a coin that looks promising, both as a platform and as an investment opportunity. Despite the slow two years of its life and the huge spikes, the price is still higher than the initial one. At the moment, the price is several times higher than it was when the coin was launched.

Would I recommend Civic coin as a good investment? Yes, but don’t expect to become a millionaire overnight. As you can see, my predictions are putting the price increase to around half a dollar per year. This can change if there is some good news surrounding the platform, but at the moment, things aren’t moving, particularly fast.

A quick disclaimer: take these predictions with a grain of salt and don’t look at them as financial advice.
