XRP outstrips Bitcoin and Ethereum in the number of transactions

The share of altcoin from Ripple in the total number of transactions with cryptocurrencies exceeded 50%.

The XRP occupied over 50% of all cryptocurrency transactions, the Ripple asset went around Ethereum and Bitcoin in this indicator. The number of operations with XRP approached a historic high of 1.7 million.

The last time a startup coin from San-Francisco showed similar results when the digital money market was at its peak - in late 2017 - early 2018. Over the past eight days, the number of transactions with XRP has increased by 128% - from 730 thousand to 1.6 million. At the moment, it is not known what these dynamics may be associated with.

Earlier, venture capitalist Tim Draper said that XRP is greatly underestimated, so in the near future there will be a sharp increase in its value in a short period of time. According to Draper, the altcoin should already exceed $ 0.6 or $ 0.9, but so far it remains below $ 0.3 and is in a state of "calm before the storm."
