As for withdrawal fees, CoinEx charges smaller fees than KuCoin. At least, in the case of Bitcoin, KuCoin charges 0.0005 BTC. That's quite a usual BTC withdrawal fee for the centralized exchange. On CoinEx, you are charged a 0.00019 BTC fee which is much more democratic. 

Security

Both exchanges do much work to protect the users' funds. However, in the case of KuCoin, these efforts were not enough. In 2020, $280 million worth of BTC and ETH was stolen from the exchange's hot wallets. Somehow, the hacker(s) obtained the private keys from these wallets. This incident seriously harms the trustworthiness of the KuCoin exchange.
