TON is a third-generation proof-of-stake blockchain designed in 2018 by the Durov brothers, the founders of Telegram Messenger. Later, it was handed over to our open TON Community, which has been supporting and developing it ever since.

TON was designed for lightning-fast transactions. It's ultra-cheap, user-friendly, and fully operational.

The project became popular only thanks to Pavel Durov. It is very frightening that the project has slowed down and mining will soon end.

Dash was launched in 2014 and changed several names before becoming Dash as we know it today. The initial goal of the project was to create a cryptocurrency network which would operate faster and cheaper than Bitcoin and would be capable to maintain more privacy. Holders of large amounts of Dash have different privileges (Instant Send, Private Send, etc). Dash is an open-source project. It has its own blockchain. The currency is supported by many crypto wallets and it has gained significant market capitalization. Another great achievement is its numerous partnerships including cooperations with Western Union, web stores, etc.
Helium (HNT) is a decentralized blockchain-powered network for Internet of Things (IoT) devices. Launched in July 2019, the Helium mainnet allows low-powered wireless devices to communicate with each other and send data across its network of nodes. Nodes come in the form of so-called Hotspots, which are a combination of a wireless gateway and a blockchain mining device. Users who operate nodes thus mine and earn rewards in Helium’s native cryptocurrency token, HNT. Helium’s goal is to prepare IoT communication for the future, identifying inadequacies in current infrastructure from its birth in 2013.
Dogecoin (DOGE) was founded in the US in 2013 as a joke but quickly gained a large following. It became a popular cryptocurrency (DOGE) used for tipping the content creators (mainly on Reddit and Telegram). As the creators had no serious plans for their currency they didn't elaborate a roadmap and were not working on the improvement of their project too much. The founder of Dogecoin Jackson Palmer left the project in 2015.
