As of now, Quantum Resistant Ledger (QRL) coin is represented on a few exchanges paired against BTC. Originally being an ERC-20 token, it switched to its own mainnet in 2018. The QRL claims to be the first decentralized cryptocurrency, that is resistant to both classical and quantum computing attacks.
Quantum Resistant Ledger uses a different to Bitcoin cryptography system called XMSS. There are web, mobile (iOS and Android) and desktop wallets developed by the Quantum Resistant Ledger’s team. As we can assume based on the name of the currency, the founder of the Quantum Resistant Ledger company focused on how to make crypto resistant to attacks of quantum computers.
We welcome your feedback and reviews about the QRL cryptocurrency here, under this article.
QRL is completely open source and audited. The core team shows names and faces of its members, they are proud to claim their work. QRL is crypto-agile, meaning that it can change from one encryption scheme to another if needed. QRL will soon be adding ETH virtual machine smart contract compatibility. QRL will soon be moving to PoS.
Nice product, nice community on discord, i hope a nice investment :-)
Pump and dump tied to the Canadian Mafia from what I could find online. Their hook is "Enqlave" a non-existent ERC-20 /Ethereum wallet to secure those assets from quantum computing attacks. Spoiler alert : Enqlave does not exist, nor is it their GitHub. The real purpose here is to do wash trading with mined QRL - as soon as they mine it, they dump it and exchange the btc for XRP so it is a halfway-clever ploy to essentially mint XRP from thin air. There are legit quantum security efforts out there (including the Ethereum project) and QRL is not one of them. It is an organized crime racket to pump, dump, and use the funds in part to buy XRP, probably because they bet that XRP will be a long term success, and they really don't GAF about quantum security, that is just smoke and mirrors. Do your own research and always check Github before falling for these types of obvious scams.
