What Is Tellor (TRB)?
Tellor (TRB) is an incentive token of the Tellor oracle platform. This token is used for rewarding data reporters who bring the correct and timely data on-chain. The data is requested via the Tellor platform by users whether they are individuals or agents of institutions or other platforms. The data is important for work of various DeFi platforms, including decentralized exchanges, yield farming platforms, liquidity pools, etc.
In contrast to other oracles, Tellor allows anyone to become a data reporter as the platform is permissionless. Those who want to become data reporters just should use open source tools for that. However, it is important to do the work right and correctly. Aside from missing out on rewards in the case of providing data slowly or providing inaccurate data, Tellor may penalize bad actors through slashing rewards and opening disputes.
Tellor works with various networks including Ethereum, Algorand, Polygon, Arbitrum, and others. To ensure the consistent data flow, Tellor uses so-called enshrined feeds which are maintained by the Tellor community. The flexibility of the data flow is achieved via accepting all the data in bytes.
Tellor was launched in 2019. The core team members are the US residents Brenda Loya, Nick Fett and Michael Zemrose. All of them were working in blockchain company Daxia and in the US state institutions.

As of November 21, 2024, the crypto market is going through a bull run. Like many other cryptocurrencies TRB follows the big trend. In November the Tellor token gained 20%. After a series of ups and downs TRB token will reach around $68.4 by the end of 2024.

However, at the end of 2030 the TRB price will be higher than before the 2028 halving. It will update its all-time high reaching around $688 by 2031.

Although we lack any reliable info about the 2030s social-political and economical events, we may use the TRB price history to picture an approximate TRB prices for the 2030s. If the crypto industry continues to grow and develop, the TRB price may cross the $5k mark by the end of 2035.
