As an international freelancer, I often have to convert the currency I earn or spend in different countries. To save time and money, I decided to use BestChange, an online currency exchange service that claims to offer the best rates and reliable exchange offices. However, my recent experience with one of the exchange offices listed on BestChange turned out to be a nightmare.

It all started when I needed to exchange some usdt for US dollars for a business trip to the United States. I checked the rates on BestChange and found an exchange office that had a high rating and positive reviews. I followed the link to the exchange site and followed the instructions to begin the exchange process.

The site asked me for my personal information, the usdt amount I wanted to exchange, and my preferred payment method. I was not happy that an organization without credit or bank accreditation was collecting my data without specifying it in advance, however, I was in a hurry and entered the data. Later I learned that the exchange office must have a special badge indicating this element. I chose to receive the cash as it seemed to me the fastest way. It seemed to me the fastest and safest way to receive money.

To my surprise, the site did not tell me the exact amount of dollars I would receive, only an approximate range. I assumed that the final amount would be within that range and that the exchange rate would not change significantly over the next few minutes, as the site promised to lock it in for 30 minutes.

When I arrived, the cashier at the office didn't know who I was or what to do with me, told me to make a new application, as applications don't fix the rate, and it is fixed at the time I received the cryptocurrency at the office and signed a paper unknown to me. I was very surprised, but there was nothing to do. After signing the papers, the rate for me was worse than in the original application.

I immediately contacted the exchanger's customer service, but they refused to refund or adjust the transaction, claiming that I had agreed to their terms. I objected that their terms were not transparent and that they had misled me by showing a false exchange rate on BestChange. However, they wouldn't budge and even threatened to report me to their legal department if I continued to dispute the transaction.
